Emergency Dentist Brisbane

We have been providing emergency dental treatment for nearly 20 years to people in Brisbane and surrounds. We also have people as far away as Mackay and Townsville who travel to our surgery to access our emergency dental treatment service. We are centrally located in New Farm, Brisbane.

Our emergency dental service operates 7 days a week, 8 - 8pm weekdays and 8 - 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Our mission is to provide you with the highest quality dental treatment in a friendly and nurturing environment.

We seek to provide the people of Brisbane and surrounds, emergency dental treatment to cater for their needs, no matter what day!  We understand that you can not predict emergency situations and aim to be there for you when you need us the most.

Out dentists are very experienced in emergency dentistry. The most common incident we see is toothaches from abscesses. This usually occurs when a tooth’s nerve is irreversibly damaged by tooth decay or fillings which go close to the nerve and eventually cause infection. This causes pressure inside the tooth and subsequently results in immense pain.

Another common condition we treat is broken teeth due to trauma and accidents and we seek to excel in the aesthetic reconstruction of these cases. We are the preferred emergency dentist for Brisbane hospitals and the QLD police force.

What you need to know

If a tooth is knocked out, try to put it back in place immediately (paying attention to which way round it needs to go) and seek emergency dental treatment immediately. If the treatment is carried out by a dentist within 1 hour of the tooth coming out, it has a good chance of successfully healing. If it is not possible put the tooth back in place or to see a dentist within 1 hour, place the tooth in a glass of milk and seek emergency dental treatment asap.

For Broken teeth without pain, if it is sharp and cutting the tongue, try placing some wax in the hole and seek emergency dental treatment asap. Keep any broken pieces and bring them in to your appointment as they may be able to be used in the reconstruction of your tooth.

Our dentists use a strong numbing paste to numb the gum as much as possible before having any injections and we have laughing gas to help relax nervous patients.
